🚨 Save the Websites 🚨

National History Day’s fastest growing contest category, websites, recently came under threat of elimination when our relationship with Weebly, which for 10 years provided our website creation platform, abruptly ended this spring.

Thankfully, the NHD Board of Trustees agreed with my conviction that we cannot let down the tens of thousands of students who participate in our most dynamic and accessible category, despite the addition of a significant cost to the NHD annual budget. Thus, our contest team is working with a developer to design our own website creation platform that will be ready for students to use by November 1, 2019.

Here’s the catch. This platform is expensive. The cost for its design, development, and maintenance over the coming year alone is $150,000. To meet that price, we need your help.

Please help us Preserve the Website Category!

Make a Donation Today – https://www.nhd.org/donate

Your contribution will allow upwards of 100,000 students around the world to participate in our annual contest via our new website building platform and reap the enduring benefits that NHD provides. Please join us in this effort and share this email with friends and colleagues. National History Day cannot preserve and grow the website category without you. Thank you, in advance, for your support.
