As of Friday, August 29, at 5 p.m. MST, the Utah Historical Society’s Engagement Room is closed and reference services are temporarily suspended. Our staff are preparing for the move to the new Museum of Utah and are unable to respond to research requests, photo orders, or requests for appointments at this time. The Engagement Room will reopen at its new location in June of 2026. If you have questions, please call (801) 245-7250. We will continue to provide updates as this work progresses.

ARE STATE ARCHIVES MANAGED BY THE UTAH HISTORICAL SOCIETY?
