PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES

Explore the Utah Historical Society's six core initiatives, each thoughtfully crafted to carry forward our mission of fostering curiosity about the past, informing the present, and strengthening our shared future. Each of our initiatives has their own designated team, including: Library & Collections, National History Day® in Utah, The Peoples of Utah Revisited, Publications, Utah Women’s History, and the future Museum of Utah opening in 2026 on the Capitol Complex.

UTAH HISTORICAL QUARTERLY

As the official journal of Utah history, Utah Historical Quarterly has been published on behalf of the Utah Historical Society since 1928.

peoples of utah revisited

NATIONAL HISTORY DAY IN UTAH

National History Day® in Utah is a year-round history education program serving 4th-12th grade students statewide.

WOMEN'S HISTORY INITIATIVE
