WHAT CAN HAPPEN WHEN YOU WORK ON A LOOM!?

February 14, 2020 @ 5:00 am - 6:00 am

Please join us this Friday, February 14 in welcoming Sandra Sandberg as she talks with us on how working with a loom can lead to discovery and inspiration through imagination and exploration.

Sandra Sandberg has been involved with textiles and weaving most of her life. She taught weaving at Dixie College, Brigham Young University as well as in Michigan. For the last twenty years, she has taught at, and managed the St George Weaving Studio.

Sandra’s presentation will cover the history, process – – how does it happen, and outcomes which directly relates with the current exhibit at the St. George City Art Museum titled, “Twisting, Twining, Tumbling, Threads that Touch, Turn and Free”.

As always, we look forward to seeing you this Friday, February 14 at 12 pm (noon) for another chapter of the Marilyn Davis Brown Bag Lecture Series.

Reservations may be made by contacting the Public Lands Information Center at 435.688.3200, via email at bswensen@d-asia.org or visit us at 345 East Riverside Drive, St George, UT
