Join the Utah Historical Society at the Iosepa Memorial Weekend Celebration to learn about the “NHPI communities of Utah Oral History Project.”
– Hear from our history ambassador, Lisia Satini (Sia), about this important initiative documenting the experiences of Utah’s Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities.
– Enjoy a special performance and inspiring Oli chant by Malialole Dance and Entertainment Studio.
– Engage with a panel of five individuals who participated in the oral history project, moderated by Sia. They will share their personal experiences, the significance of being part of this project, and more of their unique stories.
