Take a 1.5 round trip hike to see some of the most spectacular rock art in Utah. Learn about the Fremont Culture who inhabited the area from 500 to 1350 AD and discuss potential meaning of the art. We will also discuss the incredible geology of the canyon viewing ancient ripple marks, mud cracks and a 200 million year old dinosaur track.

Please bring water, hat, sunscreen, closed toe shoes and a camera. Be prepared to hike approximately 1.5 miles up two moderately steep hills.
