The collection of photographs was taken by William "Bill" Herbert Williams, ca. 1915-1925. He lived in Salt Lake City (Utah) and the photographs include Salt Lake City views, parades (WWI), football games, and colleagues at work, people and life. Williams never married and died in his early 30s. The military photographs are of his friends and their experiences. Williams was never in the service because he had a glass eye.
