Abstract:Bishop Daniel Sylvester Tuttle arrived in Salt Lake City on 4 July 1867. He went on to Montana, leaving behind George W. Foote and T. W. Haskins to establish the Episcopal church in Utah. When he returned to Utah in August 1886, a school had been started, which eventually grew into Rowland Hall-St. Mark's. Ground was broken for St. Mark Cathedral (Salt Lake City) in 1870 and the church has grown from there. Present diocesan boundaries include the Utah and the Navajoland Area Mission in the southeast corner of Utah. The collection consists of photographs of Episcopal bishops and churches: All Saints, St. Barnabas, St. Christopher's Mission, St. Elizabeth's Mission, St. Mark's Cathedral, Holy Spirit Church, St. Luke's, St. Martin's , St. Mary of the Moonlight, St. Matthew's, St. Paul's; as well as Camp Radcliffe, Camp Tuttle, Confirmation Clases, Rowland Hall, staff members, etc.

Background Note
