Located in Farmington, Utah the SCIWC was organized in the early 1890s, and incorporated in 1924. Their purpose was to supply shareholders with water for irrigation and household use. They also had the power to open, repair and maintain ditches, canals, reservoirs and water powers for the conveyance and storage of water and to buy, hold, own, acquire, use, occupy and otherwise obtain such real estate as may be necessary for the construction and right of way of ditches. The SCIWC was dissolved in approximate 1985.
Included are articles of incorporation, bank statements, census of irrigation, correspondence, legal papers, minutes, stock certificates, etc.
