The event will be a driving tour with stops to learn about the history of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) grazing projects that were constructed in the Beaver Dam NCA.   We will visit the CCC constructed Turtle Flat Corral and Welcome Spring Tank and Corral.  Please bring a vehicle appropriate for driving on dirt roads with potential clearance issues, as well as a hat, water, a snack, and sunscreen.  Parking in the vicinity is limited.  This event will follow May 2021 CDC guidelines for Covid 19.  Please RSVP to kcleek@blm.gov by Friday, April 30, 2021 as this event is open to a maximum of 10 people.   We hope to see you there!

Meet at the Turtle Flat Corral (on the St George Field Office Visitor Guide Map) about a mile off of the west side of Hwy 91 in the Beaver Dam National Conservation Area.  Turn right at the major two-way intersection approximately 2 miles north of the Arizona Border.  A map with directions will be provided to interested parties when you RSVP.
