MOUNTAIN MEADOWS NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE / BAKER DAM RESERVOIR

The Mountain Meadows Massacre National Historic Landmark is located approximately 40 minutes north of St George on State Route 18. It includes several different monuments and memorials all clustered within about a 2-mile radius. Baker Dam Reservoir is located at the foot of the towering Pine Valley Mountains, the area offers slightly cooler temperatures and a quick getaway from St George and other lower elevation communities. The reservoir is stocked with trout on a regular basis which makes this a popular fishing site. Open year round with a 19 site campground for use on a first come, first serve basis.
We will depart the Public Lands Information Center at 9:00 am.
