The Oquirrh Mountain Mining Museum at the Deseret Peak Complex has a 30 minute video/history "The Town that Wouldn't Die", artifacts, geology, reclamation efforts, gold uses, etc.
The Intrepid Potash Mine at Wendover is an active mine that provides school
and private tours upon request.

This museum has a great exhibit with support from the Brush Wellman Mine, showing mineral and paleontology
