Hellenic Museum

The mine/mill/railroad display shows operations at the Kennecott mine in the early 1900's. This coincides with the massive Greek migration to the Utah mining fields.

A "Hellenic Historical Monument" is located in the Greek Orthodox Church Holy Trinity Complex at 279 South 300 West in Salt Lake City, dedicated to 200 miners who were killed in the 1900 Winter Quarters explosion.
