National Trust for Historic Preservation
Ever since it was founded in 1949, the National Trust has shown how preservation can play an important role in
strengthening a sense of community and improving the quality of life. This web site is another step in that ongoing
process.

The Vernacular Architecture Forum
The Vernacular Architecture Forum was formed in 1980 to encourage the study and preservation of informative and
valuable material resources such as traditional domestic and agricultural buildings, industrial and commercial structures, twentieth-century suburban houses, settlement patterns and cultural landscapes.

The Society of Architectural Historians
Founded in 1940, the Society encourages scholarly research in the field and promotes the preservation of significant architectural monuments that are an integral part of our worldwide historical and cultural heritage.

The Preservation Easement Trust, Inc.
Preservation Easement Trust, Inc., is a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization that is dedicated to
preserving our nation's historic buildings and sites through the acceptance and responsible management of historic preservation conservation easements, including facade, interior space and lost development rights conservation
easements. Preservation Easement Trust was founded by a core group of skilled professionals and preservationists
as a means to promote historic preservation nationwide.
