Arizona Site Steward Program

Description
The Arizona Site Steward program is a statewide organization of volunteers, sponsored by the public land managers of Arizona and the Hopi Tribe; selected, trained, certified, and appointed by the State Historic Preservation Office. Stewards are committed to cultural resource preservation activities, especially monitoring designated cultural resources for damage caused by vandalism, theft, or nature. After training, stewards monitor specific sites and send in site steward service reports.
