Utah.com: The State's Tourism Web Page
Description
The State of Utah, through its travel development office, has entered into a partnership with a private sector vendor called Utah.com. Utah.com is the Travel Council's home page for travel destinations of all varieties.

Recently, the state of Utah in partnership with Utah.com added heritage and culture to the Utah.com web site to allow for a visitor to identify key heritage destinations around the state, and to provide a place for heritage organizations of all types to place their events calendar in a readily accessible and heavily marketed web site location.

How to Use This Tool
The power of the private sector partnership with Utah.com allows for heavy promotion of open to the public heritage and archaeological site destinations and other related cultural attractions at no cost to our program.

By providing this partnership, the site is maintained by the Utah.com private sector developer, whereas the Office of Preservation and related cultural institutions provide heritage content and information about sites and destinations.

By developing this project we are assured of wide marketing of our resources while at the same time not having to maintain the web site. This is part of building a heritage industry.

Limitations
Utah.com or other web site managers may only want to include key attractions rather than all the historic, archaeological, and heritage attractions. It is therefore somewhat limiting in terms of what might be available.
