Arizona American Indian Tourism Association
Description
The Arizona American Indian Tourism Association (AAITA) was created to promote and develop the Arizona Indian tourism industry in a manner that respects the cultural integrity of Native American peoples and protects the natural environment. The AAITA has organized and conducted two annual Southwest American Indian Tourism Conferences. These conferences bring together Native American tribes of the Southwest to examine sustainable, environmentally-sound tourism activities.

How to Use This Tool
The AAITA provides limited ecotourism development assistance and training, and information on ecological and heritage tourism. AAITA also facilitates and hosts conferences for Native Americans, speakers on tourism issues, and assists Native American people in effective networking.
