The Lewis Tourist Apartments were made up of motel rooms in an L formation. Located at 980 S. State Street in Salt Lake City, the complex was managed by Myrtle Murray in 1938.

The collection includes two snapshots taken by Alfred Panum while he was staying at the Lewis Tourist Apartments in Salt Lake City, ca. 1938. One of the photographs is a lighter copy of the other. Both photographs are original black and white prints.
