Patient outings at the hospital were begun as part of the hospital's new and developing therapy program. The first recorded trip was to North Park (Provo, Utah) for a picnic, the second to the Utah State Fair (Salt Lake City), and finally to a bowling lanes in Provo. The photographs were taken by Yvonne L. Kauffman and an unidentified hospital employee.
