The project was meant to involve each citizen in a thoughtful appraisal of his/her life in Utah and what it meant to live in this particular time and place. No constraints were made regarding age, gender, socioeconomic background, religion, occupation, nor ethnicity, for the portrait would be incomplete if any demographic segment of the state wide community was missing.
