Diaries and memorandum book. Diaries cover the nearly 50 years between

Mormon Church's United Order of Enoch, farm life and activities, exploration of
the Fremont River, community events and church service. The bulk of
correspondence concerns brother William's service as a missionary to the
Sandwich Islands, genealogy and Volney's service in the Black Hawk War. Some
legal papers that settle his estate are also included.
