The collection is a gift of Theodore D. Martin, who is the son of Rev. George W. Martin, pastor for over forty years of the Presbyterian Church at Manti.

 Scope and Content

This collection consists of copies of "Presbyterian Work in Utah, 1869-1969," a manuscript compiled by Theodore D. and Marian E. Martin in 1970 and copies of two supportive documents, Emil Nyman, "Westminster College: 100 Years" (1975), and The Church Review, Historical Edition 4, (29 Dec 1895).

The manuscript "Presbyterian Work in Utah, 1869-1969" is largely a compilation of sources relevant to the various Presbyterian churches and schools, but it also contains hitherto unused letters and reminiscences by Mr. Martin.
