An authentic ranch that operated from 1848 to 1981. You can visit the ranch house, outbuildings, and corrals.

Utah County
Camp Floyd/Stagecoach Inn State Park, Fairfield 
Site of a bustling camp for Johnston’s Army, with a museum in the 1858 commissary building, tours of a hotel built in 1858, a one-room schoolhouse, and the army cemetery.

Salt Lake County

Central Utah
Sevier County
Fremont Indian State Park, Sevier County 
Fremont Indian State Park, located off of Exit 17 on Hwy. 70 in central Utah, has 697 rock art panels, a museum housing Utah’s largest Fremont site excavation artifact collection, an award-winning family campground, and 14 trails between ¼ mile and five miles in length. 


East-Central Utah
Millard County:
Territorial Statehouse State Park Museum, Fillmore   
Utah’s first “Capitol” building.


Central-South Utah
Mormon Pioneer Heritage Area
Heritage experiences, places, food, and events in Sanpete, Sevier, Piute, Garfield, Kane, and Wayne counties


Southwest Utah
Iron County:
Frontier Homestead State Park Museum, Cedar City 
A collection of horse-drawn vehicles is one of this museum’s highlights.

Washington County:
Hurricane Canal. Settlers in Hurricane carved an amazing canal along a steep rocky slope to get water from the Virgin River. 


Southeast Utah
Garfield County:
Anasazi Museum, Boulder 
Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum, Blanding
