The Antiquities Section of State History will accept electronic submissions of report and site forms, including photographs under certain pre-arranged conditions.
However, in all cases we must also receive a hard copy of each page of every report and site form, including photographs.
For site forms, we require original photographs (black and white or color) in an archival sleeve attached to the site form. The photos must be printed on acid-free, archival quality, photographic paper. Photographs in reports must be of publishable quality. Maps or figures in reports or site forms that are printed in color on ink-jet printers are not acceptable. If you must include colored maps or figures, please submit a color Xerox copy rather than an ink-jet printout.
Because these records must endure and remain accessible for many years to come, all records submitted to this office must be of the best quality possible, on the best materials possible. Thank you for your cooperation.
