Utah Archaeology Week, May 5 – 12, 2012
Statewide events will give you insight into groups who made their lives here for thousands of years before people started writing history.
The week begins with State History’s annual Archaeology Week Open House at the Rio Grande Depot on Saturday, May 5, 2012, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The open house includes:
- hands-on activities for kids
- spear and atlatl throwing
- Navajo tacos
- demonstrations of prehistoric technology.
